For real world usability this is currently the best 64GB flash drive (superseded by the Ventura Ultra - 2014). It has a very balanced performance profile with an exceptional 4K random write speed. The 16GB version of the Extreme is currently the value leader in the USB 3.0 flash drive shootout. At present there are no viable alternatives to the 64GB Extreme in fact the Corsair voyager GT turbo is the only drive on the horizon that may challenge the Sandisk any time soon. There are however several reports (Newegg, Amazon) of compatibility issues with this, the 64GB version (other versions are fine), so if you do go for the 64GB version, don't throw the receipt away in a hurry. I mean, it does what it's supposed to. Good to use as a throw around drive for small files, can't complain too much considering I got mine for free. [Jul '20TheWildShadow55]
