Because of its fantastic headline read/write speeds, there is often a lot of interest in this drive. It's not available in 16GB so I couldn't include it in the standardized tests. Quickly looking at the 64GB Kingston HyperX 3.0 (manuf.) claimed seq r/w speeds 225/135 @ £78 or $100. Compared to the November leader - Sandisk Extreme 64GB version (manuf.) claimed r/w 190/170 @ £45 or $79. The extreme is significantly better value, and has much much faster 4K write speeds. For real world usability this is currently the best 64GB flash drive (superseded by the Ventura Ultra - 2014). It has a very balanced performance profile with an exceptional 4K random write speed. The 16GB version of the Extreme is currently the value leader in the USB 3.0 flash drive shootout. At present there are no viable alternatives to the 64GB Extreme in fact the Corsair voyager GT turbo is the only drive on the horizon that may challenge the Sandisk any time soon. There are however several reports (Newegg, Amazon) of compatibility issues with this, the 64GB version (other versions are fine), so if you do go for the 64GB version, don't throw the receipt away in a hurry.
