The Adata Dashdrive Elite S102 Pro 64GB has proven to be a popular USB 3.0 flash drive. I did a full review of the 16GB version back in 2012 and little has changed since then. The S102 Pro still has the same robust form factor and reasonable performance profile. The 64GB S102 Pro has sequential read/write speeds of 105/50 MBps which is exactly in line with the indicated speeds on Adata's website. Peak small 4K file performance is currently measuring 7.84/1.49 MB/s which is well above average for a 64GB flash drive. At present our users have only submit four benchmark samples for this model, the peak 4K speeds are likely to drop as we accumulate more samples. The 64GB S102 Pro's performace is largely in line with its 32GB sibling and it bests its 16GB sibling by around 30%. Overall the 64GB S102 Pro Dashdrive Elite represents good value for money. [Feb '14 USBFlashPro]

MORE DETAILS

This could have been a serious contender in the high speed USB 3.0 arena. On paper at least, with 260/220 MB/s read/write speeds, this drive would have had the highest sequential speeds we have seen to date on a 64GB drive. The GT Turbo was delayed by several months by Corsair, and when finally released it proved to fall far short of the advertised headline speeds. In reality it can only write at around 80 MBps and has an extremely weak 4K Random write speed. Corsair have offered refunds to the multitude of unhappy customers that bought this drive in anticipation of it setting new speed records. There are far faster drives available. [Aug '13 USBFlashPro]

Marketers operate thousands of reddit accounts. Our benchmarks expose their spiel so they attack our reputation.
Why don’t PC brands endorse UserBenchmark?
Brands make boatloads on flagships like the 4090 and 14900KS. We help users get similar real-world performance for less money.
