The 32GB Sandisk Ultra Fit has both a tiny form factor and a respectable performance profile. With peak sequential read/write speeds of 136/55 MBps and peak 4K read/writes of 6.6/2.0 MBps the 32GB Ultra Fit sits amongst the top 25% of 32GB flash drives. In terms of value for money the Ultra fit fares even better and is bested only by the Sandisk Extreme. Comparing the 32GB Extreme and Ultra Fit shows that the Extreme has over double the effective speed yet the extreme is only 32% more expensive than the Ultra Fit. To conclude, the 32GB Ultra Fit has good peak performance (sustained performance is far less impressive) but its key strengths are its tiny form factor and reasonable price tag. [Oct '14USBFlashPro]
The Store n Go had a quirky performance profile. For its price the drive shone in the CrystalDiskMark and ATTO tests but the AS-SSD real world speed test revealed that the drive was less able to both read and write at the same time. It might be best to avoid this drive if you plan to run applications or host an operating system. Our tests showed the drive outperforming Verbatim's claimed write speed by a factor of three, an unusual result. There are several versions of this drive going by the same name, some with an LED, some without and all with vastly varying speed profiles. Our test drive performed at the top end of the speed range we have seen. Overall, given the low price but inconsistent results, we consider this drive average at best and a somewhat risky purchase.

We highlight the best USB flash drive in terms of balanced performance and value for money using current prices, sequential read, sequential write , 4k read and 4k write speed. The speeds are combined to form a single effective speed which measures performance for tasks such as copying photos, music and videos. Effective speed is adjusted by current price and capacity to yield value for money. Finally thousands of individual user ratings are used to validate our benchmark figures. [USBFlashPro]
