This could have been a serious contender in the high speed USB 3.0 arena. On paper at least, with 260/220 MB/s read/write speeds, this drive would have had the highest sequential speeds we have seen to date on a 64GB drive. The GT Turbo was delayed by several months by Corsair, and when finally released it proved to fall far short of the advertised headline speeds. In reality it can only write at around 80 MBps and has an extremely weak 4K Random write speed. Corsair have offered refunds to the multitude of unhappy customers that bought this drive in anticipation of it setting new speed records.
