There are no read/write speeds on any of the official documentation for this drive, usually a pretty clear signal, and an accurate one in this case. I don't have this drive nor will I review it properly as the performance figures are terrible - the 4k write speeds are close to zero! This drive only just outperforms a lot of USB 2.0 drives from five years ago, I am really surprised that Kingston have released this so recently as it has no chance of competing in the now, extremely competitive USB flash drive market. [Dec '12 USBFlashPro]

Used USBDeView to run a large file speed test. It underperformed my many years old Verbatum USB 2.0 thumb drive. This thing sucks. $9.00 online at WalMart....overpriced at that. Bought 2. One was DOA.—Sep '14

The Kingston 111 is only a bit better than a USB 2.0 drive. This comparison has several good USB 3.0 Speed drives, nearly all of which outperform this one!
