We had high expectations for this drive, unfortunately we were slightly disappointed. On the positive side the drive has excellent sequential read speeds, but the performance profile is unbalanced and the drive is significantly weaker at writing. In terms of build quality the drive is lacking, the plastic feels loose and the drive rattles when you shake it. Overall this drive has above average performance but is also priced higher than average leaving it reasonable value for money at best, there are better deals to be had at this time. The 64GB Jumpdrive P10 is Lexar's 2013 upgrade to their flagship Triton range of flash drives. The P10 shares the same excellent body as the Triton and delivers actual speed increases in the region of 30% over its predecessor. In terms of price there is not a huge increase so I do prefer the 64GB P10 to the 64GB Triton but the upgrade is less pronounced than when going from the 32GB Triton to the 32GB P10 where performance increased by nearly 75%. Despite its record breaking sequential speeds the 64GB P10, like the Triton and the other P10 drives, struggles in the area of small 4K random writes. If you are planning to use this drive to copy small files or to host applications you will likely be disappointed otherwise for tasks such as copying video and audio files this is one of the fastest flash drives you can currently buy.
